Materials

PLA (Polyactic Acid) - Inexpensive and perfect for concept/fitment models. Low heat resistance.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) - Typically found in injection molding processes, this material is heat and impact resistant proving to be a good option for functional prototypes.

ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) - Similar chemical composition to ABS but offers UV resistance, improved mechanical properties, heat resistant, and more impact resistant. Perfect for long term weather exposure and automotive interior applications.

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) - Chemical and humidity resistant, tough and perfect for snap-fit components.

NYLON - Great for wear resistant parts, heat and impact resistant. Strong and lightweight while being partially flexible.

Nylon Carbon Fiber - All of the features of nylon paired with the strength and durability of carbon fiber fill.

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)- Flexible and stretchable material available in various shore durometers. Perfect for vibration dampening and impact resistance. This material retains the shape it was printed in.
